 | Patrick - Director, Bass When he isn't singing, Patrick can often be seen playing Ultimate Frisbee. His favorite book is the Cat in the Hat and he loves the film Mulan. His strong academic interests in the fields of music and business make Acquire the perfect place for him to spend his time. |
 | Rachel - Asst. Director, Soprano No stranger to singing, Rachel has participated in a number of musical ventures over the years including roles in musicals such as Grease, Into the Woods, and the Sound of Music. In addition to this, Rachel also plays the piano and organ, and she has traveled across the country doing so. She recently made up her mind to be a linguistics major with an emphasis on Spanish and wishes she could travel the world learning every language imaginable. She has a strong aversion to any food involving fish, and hopes to someday learn to surf. |
 | Cody - Asst. Director, Bass Cody is a veteran of marching band and various concert functions. He loves to play anything jazz, and excels at upright and electric bass. If he isn't relaxing or playing bass, he's generally nerding it up with his friends at UCSC, or snoozing lightly in the shade. Someday, he hopes to be listed with the likes of Stanley Clarke and other fusion jazz greats. |
 | Blake - Street Team Manager With a background in stage management and rocking out, Blake is overqualified for the position of Acquire's street team manager. He brings his energy and experience to fill many cracks in the woodwork of the group's business side. A player of both guitar and hockey, Blake once aspired to be a professional figure skater. He is rather a fan of Stephen King novels and obscure British pop from the 80s. |
Singers & Street Team
 | Andrea Aquino - Asst. Manager, Website Management & Graphic Design Andrea came all the way from Las Vegas to study literature and French at UCSC. After graduating, she hopes to study baking and pastry arts at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris. In addition to singing in Acquire, Andrea plays the piano, tambourine, and 12-string guitar. She enjoys moshpits, fat cats, burying herself in freshly dried laundry, and reading books in hammocks. Her favorite smell is that of a freshly peeled orange. |
 | Caitlin - Alto A choir enthusiast since age nine, Caitlin was a member of the Contra Costa Children's Chorus for seven years and participated in both her middle and high school choirs. Her singing adventures both in and out of school have taken her to Spain, Alaska, Hawaii and New York's Carnegie Hall. Caitlin loves to write novels for young adults; she is currently completing her fourth book and hopes to publish her work someday. Her dream is to become a middle school English teacher or a therapist for teens. When she's not reading, writing, singing or playing the piano, Caitlin enjoys hanging out with family and friends, drinking chocolate-and-Oreo milkshakes, hugging people randomly, roller blading and being a professional texting fiend. |
 | Danny - Vocal Percussion Danny hails from Hollister (the town, not the store) and, thanks to Acquire, can truthfully say that he once killed a man by ripping out his heart onstage. He possesses arguably the widest range of facial expressions known to mankind. |
 | Jefferson - Bass Jefferson played piano and sang karaoke with his parents when he was little, but has never realized his passion for music until joining Acquire. Now, he's teaching himself piano and guitar, and plans to major in music in hopes of having some sort of musical career in the future. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, playing video games, and riding his bicycle. |
 | Kelsey - Alto Kelsey has been inspired by singing since the age of 12. She's been in numerous choirs and plays throughout her life and loves performing more than anything else in the world! Currently a psych major, Kelsey plans to attend grad school and fulfill her other passion of becoming a psychiatrist. |
 | Marya - Soprano A psych major and music minor, Marya's time in high school chamber choir took her singing as far as France, German, Italy, and Switzerland. She's a self-taught, wannabe guitarist who hates tomatoes and is completely addicted to reality television. While she may at times be a procrastinator, she is never tardy in learning her music. |
 | Mitch - Tenor Although Mitch is an Astrophysics major, he feels as though music is his true calling in life. He has enjoyed singing for longer than he can possibly remember but has only been seriously singing in choirs and bands for a few years. Mitch has been teaching himself guitar for the last three years as well and can never figure out which he likes better. His dream is to one day make it big as a singer/guitarist for a rock band, but for now he is a Tenor in Acquire, which is really cool too. |
 | Sebastian - Website Management & Graphic Design Originally born in Stuttgart, Germany, Sebastian (or "Seabass") has been classically trained in piano since the age of five and has recently received internet fame through his all-piano medley arrangement of Kingdom Hearts tracks. He joins Acquire to assist in web presence and new media development, enhancing the group's online identity through his expertise in php and java coding. |
Abroad
 | Casey - Tenor Casey has been known to pop up wherever music is happening with a big smile on his face and a toy monkey velcroed around his neck. He is possibly the most optimistic person we've ever met. |
 | Ian - Bass We will give you a million dollars if you can guess Ian's exact racial makeup, because it's pretty crazy. He can do backflips and he has an unquenchable obsession with Trader Joe's Macaroni and Cheese. Ian will watch anything by Joss Whedon and listen to anything by Lady Gaga. |
