• Cowell Commencement Ceremony // Saturday, June 12^th
  Acquire will be performing once again at Cowell College's graduation ceremony. The event starts at 1pm on UCSC's East Field.
• Kuumbwa Jazz Center w/ the House Jacks // Friday, June 11^th [Facebook Event]
  Acquire, The Hightones, and the House Jacks will reunite for an encore of their first concert together in November. We're honored to be hosted once again by the legendary Kuumbwa Jazz Club in downtown Santa Cruz.
• Woodstock's Fundraiser // Tuesday, June 1^st [Facebook Event]
  Acquire will be doing some fundraising and pizza-eating at Woodstock's Pizza on Front St. Print out a flyer or an Acquirefest program and 15-20% of your purchase will go towards our debut CD fund!
• Acquirefest 2010 // Friday and Saturday, May 28^th and 29^th [Facebook Event]
  It's Acquirefest's fourth birthday! We're inviting groups from all over the West Coast to join us for our annual celebration of a cappella on the UCSC campus. This event, free to UCSC students, will be at the Stevenson Events Center at 8pm. Check out each night's lineup on our event page!
• Kresge PRIDE // Saturday, May 22^nd
  In celebration of Harvey Milk Day, UCSC's Kresge College is hosting their 5th annual PRIDE event. PRIDE honors the LGBTQ and allied communities with a campus-wide march and festivities on Kresge's Lower Street.
• Beatlemania // Friday, May 21^st [Facebook Event]
  We'll be joining our lovely lady friends The Hightones at their first concert featuring songs by the world's most popular band.
• Soquel Elementary Outreach // Friday, May 14^th
  We're excited to visit a group of young singers at Soquel Elementary School to teach them about collegiate a cappella music.
• Merrill Student Leaders Dinner // Thursday, May 13^th
  Acquire has been invited to perform at the annual Merrill College dinner for student leaders. We'll be doing an extended set starting at around 6:15pm.
• College 8 Organic College Night // Thursday, April 22^nd
  In honor of Earth Day, College 8 will be hosting an organic dinner and College Night celebration at the C8/Oakes Dining Hall. Acquire will be performing an extended set during the dinner, so come and hear some old favorites as well as our newest tunes!
• UCSC Day by the Bay // Saturday, April 17^th
  Come to UCSC's East Field at noon for an outdoor festival celebrating the university's alumni and local community. Admission is free!
• VSA 4th Annual Cultural Charity Show // Saturday, April 17^th
  Acquire is joining UCSC's Vietnamese Student Association to raise money for blind children's education in Vietnam. Come to Porter Dining Hall for a night of great cultural festivities and delicious food!
• Overtones Spring Show // Saturday, April 10^th
  We're joining our friends the Golden Overtones at Cal for their spring show. Remember, we're on Saturday night (not Friday).
• Aji Kounye-A for Haiti // Friday, April 2^nd
  This benefit concert for Haiti is hosted UCSC's Student Union Assembly. Acquire will be joining other on-campus performance groups to help raise money to donate to the Red Cross.
• A Cappella in Wonderland // Saturday, March 6^th
  Join Acquire and The Hightones for an a cappella concert to benefit Santa Cruz Hillel's Alternative Spring Break program! UCSC students in the program will travel to Nicaragua to build an oven for a community in need. We'll be featuring a prize drawing and delicious snacks, so come and show your love!
• Hellacappella 2010 // Saturday, February 27^th
  The UC Davis Spokes have invited Acquire to be part of their annual Hellacappella concert, which is always an incredibly fun event. Don't miss this gathering of some of the best NorCal a cappella groups!
• The International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCAs) // Saturday, February 6^th
  Acquire will be participating in their first-ever ICCAs at the University of Oregon in Eugene. If you're a fan of ours in our neighboring states to the north, come support us on our first out-of-state trip!

• Stevenson's Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego? College Night // Tuesday, November 24^th
  Acquire performed at Cowell's neighboring college, Stevenson, at their last College Night of the quarter.
• Cowell's I Love New York College Night // Thursday, November 19^th
  Acquire did a short performance at College Night from one of our favorite Broadway musicals.
• Kuumbwa Jazz Center w/the House Jacks // Friday, November 13^th
  Acquire will be featured in a performance once again at the legendary Kuumbwa Jazz Center downtown, performing alongside the world-famous professional a cappella group The House Jacks. Be sure not to miss what is sure to be an exciting event.
• West Coast A Cappella Showcase // Saturday, November 14^th
  This year, Acquire will again be performing at UC Berkeley for the West Coast A Cappella Showcase hosted by their friends in UC Men's Octet and the Golden Overtones. Acquire will be performing immediately before this groups at the Saturday night performance.
• Sing For Your Life // Saturday, November 7^th
  The group will be performing at this year's Sing For Your Life concert at Aptos High School. The show's proceeds will benefit high school music outreach.
• Cowell Graduation // Saturday, June 13^th
  Acquire performed at the Commencement Ceremony for graduating seniors from Cowell College.
• Kresge PRIDE // Sunday, June 7^th
  The group was honored to announce they were performing once again at Kresge PRIDE. Following a march from Pacific and Cathcart, there was be a festival at San Lorenzo Park where Acquire performed a few songs.
• SCTV Year-End Celebration // Wednesday, June 3^rd
  A small performance was held at SCTV's End of the Year Celebration at Classroom Unit 2.
• Isang Himig Presents: La Voce Bella // Sunday, May 31^st
  Acquire was once again invited to be featured at Isang Himig's annual spring show, La Voce Bella. The show took place at the Merrill Cultural Center at 5pm and was free to all.
• Cowell Dining Hall's Talent Show College Night // Wednesday, May 27^th
  The newly-renovated Cowell Dining Hall sponsored a talent show college night that featured a performance by Acquire A Cappella.
• Invisible Children Benefit Show // Tuesday, May 26^th
  Acquire performed at a benefit show for to support the Invisible Children at College 9/10's multi-purpose room.
• Drag Yourself out For Diversity // Friday, May 22^nd
  The group performed at an event sponsored by The Diversity Center at UCSC.
• ACQUIREFEST 2009 // Friday, May 8^th & Saturday, May 9^th
  This year, Acquirefest returned bigger than ever: two nights of music featuring different line-ups of the best a cappella groups in the bay area! The event featured groups from UCSC, UC Davis, Berkeley, and Stanford to perform at the Stevenson Event Center. The third year of this annual free show was a resounding success.
• HomoHop // Tuesday, April 29^th
  Acquire was thrilled to be an opening act at the HomoHop event sponsored by the Cantu Queer Center and Cowell College.
• The 2nd Annual Banana Slug Salto // Saturday, February 28^th
  The group performed the Star Spangled Banner at the opening ceremony for this year's UCSC Gymnastics Home Meet, as well as a few songs at their awards ceremony at Santa Cruz Sports Central.
• College 8: Organic College Night // Thursday, March 5^th
  Acquire plans to perform an array of material at the Organic College Night for College Eight on campus.
• Acquire Presents: Pump It Up!: A Musical Benefit For Playpumps Int'l // Thursday, March 12^th
  This year, Acquire was thrilled to announce its first ever benefit show for the humanitarian organization Playpumps International. 50% of all proceeds from this show benefitted Playpumps, a group that installs ingenious water supply systems to Sub-Saharan Africa. The other 50% of the money raised went to recording Acquire's first ever CD, a portion of which's proceeds will also go to Playpumps. Check out the Pump It Up! • The 4th Annual Kappa Zeta Cancer Walk // Tuesday, March 10^th
  Acquire perform at this year's Cancer Walk hosted by Kappa Zeta Sorority at Kresge college.
• Acquire Presents: East Meets West Showcase Round 2 // Tuesday, February 17^th
  Although Brandeis VoiceMale was unable to attend, Acquire entertained a full house with several new songs as well as intimate solo performances. A few old favorites were brought back as well as some unexpected recent additions, making the second part of EMW a great success. (Facebook Event)
• College Nine/Ten Family Day // Saturday, February 7^th
  This year's Family Day at College 9/10 featured some music by Acquire.
• HellaCappella '09 // Friday, February 6^th
  Acquire was invited back to perform at UC Davis at this year's HellaCappella, hosted again by the Spokes.
• LA / AF - Los Angeles A Cappella Festival // Friday, January 30^th
  This year Acquire was excited to participate in the LA / AF, a "day-long vocal festival held on the beautiful UC Los Angeles campus" featuring "top industry professionals, collegiate a cappella groups, and fans in this unique celebration of the vocal arts." This was the group's first trek down to the Southern California area, where they participated in festival events as well as performed a few songs for the LA crowd.
• Acquire Presents: East Meets West Showcase Round 1 // Thursday, January 15^th
  In the first of a set of shows featuring groups from the East Coast traveling to UCSC to perform with Acquire, the group hosted a special show at Cowell College, featuring Brown University's Brown Derbies from Providence, Rhode Island. This coming together of the UC and the Ivy League packed the apartment community room to the rafters. (Facebook Event)

• Cloud 9's Winter Show // Saturday, December 6^th
  Once again, Acquire joined Cloud 9 at their annual winter show.
• College Nine/Ten Chrismahanukwanzavus College Night // Tuesday, December 2^nd
  Several holiday songs were sung along with a few old favorites at College Nine & Ten's festive college night celebration.
• West Coast A Cappella Showcase // Saturday, November 15^th
  Acquire was invited back to this year's West Coast A Cappella Showcase at UC Berkeley, hosted by their friends the Golden Overtones and the UC Men's Octet. They performed on the first night of events at the Wheeler Auditorium at Cal alongside over half a dozen other well-respected groups from the western coast.
• OPERS Festival '08 // Tuesday, September 23 ^rd
  In addition to having a table at this year's OPERS festival, Acquire had fun performing a few songs for a crowd of students out on the east field.
• Cowell Graduation Commencement // Saturday, June 14^th
  The group was invited to perform at the Class of 2008 Cowell Commencement as both a "speaker" and a performing group. 1-2:30pm.
• Inauguration Of Chancellor Blumenthal // Friday, June 6^th
  Acquire was very honored to perform at the official inauguration of George Blumenthal as Chancellor of UCSC. A video of the ceremony (including Acquire's performance about 1/4th of the way in) may be viewed online.
• Isang Himig Presents "Euphoria" // Sunday, June 1^st
  The three UCSC a cappella groups sang together once again at Isang Himig's annual spring show.
• Kresge PRIDE // Saturday, May 31^st
  Acquire was honored to be among those performing at 2008's PRIDE march and celebration at Kresge College.
• Acquirefest '08 // Friday, May 30^th
  The second annual Acquirefest saw over five hundred attendees and six groups perform from UCSC, Berkeley, Davis, and Stanford. A great success for all involved. (Facebook Event)
• Cloud 9's Spring Show // Friday, May 16^th
  Acquire proudly performed at Cloud 9's show at Humanities Lecture Hall.
• Cowellpalooza // Friday, May 1 ^st
  In honor of the last dinner at Cowell/Stevenson Dining Hall before it for renovation until March 2009, Cowell performed for diners during a special meal. As the Cowell Dining Hall had been the venue for many rehearsals and concerts, this was a heartfelt moment for the group.
• Cowell Alumni Luncheon // Saturday, April 26^th
  Acquire was honored to perform at the Cowell Alumni Association dinner. Songs from the year 1968 were performed at the Provost's House for Cowell alumni and their guests.
• HellaCappella // Saturday, March 8^th
  Acquire was part of UC Davis's performance at UC Davis Freeborn Hall, 7-10pm.
• Cloud 9's Winter Show // Friday, February 29^th
  Acquire performed at fellow group Cloud 9's Winter show from 7-10pm.
• BaTo LoMuDa // Thursday, February 14^th
  For Valentines Day, Acquire performed a few of their renditions of Disney Songs for Babies and Toddlers Love Music & Dance at the 418 Project.
• Disneymania! // February 1^st & 2^nd
  Audience members visited magnificent castles and distant lands in this magical musical experience. Location: Cowell Dining Hall at UCSC. (More Info)
• Kuumbwa // Saturday, January 12^th
  Acquire had the honor to perform with the female indie folk pop quartet BLAME SALLY from San Francisco. Show at 7pm, tickets $15 and $10 for students.

• Vocal Harmony Showcase // Friday, November 16^th
  Performed at Peachwood's Steakhouse in Santa Cruz with a six other performance artists featuring a variety of other talent. Doors opened at 6:30pm and tickets sold for $7 at the venue.
• Cowell Thanksgiving College Night // Tuesday, November 20^th
  A performance at the best of all dining halls on UCSC's campus, Acquire headlined Cowell's Thanksgiving dinner with the other campus a cappella groups opening.
• Merrill College Night // Wednesday, November 14^th
  Acquire performed several songs from the jukebox era at Merrill's diner-themed college night.
• GenerAction // Wednesday, November 7 ^th
  Performing at Kresge Town Hall for those attending an informative get-together on the GenerAction program. 9-9:15pm
• West Coast A Cappella Showcase // Saturday, October 27^th
  Acquire kicked off the new school year by performing on night two of a two-night a cappella festival at UC Berkeley. 8:00pm to 10:00pm at the Cal Wheeler Auditorium.
• Acquirefest '07 // Friday, June 1^st
  The first annual Acquirefest! This show was the largest a cappella event of the year in Santa Cruz, featuring Acquire, Cloud 9, Isang Himig, the Spokes,the Afterglow, and Decadence. It took place from 8-10:30pm in the Cowell Dining Hall.
• Merrill College Staff Appreciation Dinner // Tuesday, May 22^nd
  Acquire sang several songs (including some new ones) for members of the Merrill Staff at a movie theater-themed dinner in their honor.
• FSA Concert with Isang Himig // Sunday, May 20 ^th
  Opened for Isang Himig at a performance for the Filipino Student Association at Namaste Lounge.
• UCSC Wellness Fair // Tuesday, May 8^th
  Acquire performed a few songs for an audience in the Quarry during the campus's annual Wellness Fair, sponsored by Luna.
• Banana Slug Spring Fair // Saturday, April 28 ^th
  A performance at the reception of the Oakes College 35th alumni reunion, singing songs from the late sixties and early seventies.
• Oakes College 2nd Annual Family Fest // Saturday, February 24^th
  Acquire's very first gig! The group, just three weeks old, was hired to perform a few songs at Oakes for the families of students and staff at Oakes College.
