Roaring back for its third year,Acquire A Cappella 's annual spring concert, Acquirefest, will feature close to a dozen a cappella groups performing over the course of two nights. The first Acquirefest quickly established the largest a cappella tradition on campus with almost four hours of music, six performances, and over 450 attendees. In 2008, the show returned with even more attendees coming out to the burgeoning tradition. Now in 2009, the show is expected to be even bigger. The show will, as always, be free for the UC Santa Cruz campus's students and staff.

This all will take place on Friday, May 8th and Saturday, May 9th, at the Stevenson Event Center.Members of the Santa Cruz community and beyond not affiliated with the campus are also welcome to purchase tickets for $5 at the door.

The show will begin at 8pm with doors opened at 7:30; be sure to be on time as seats are likely to fill up for this free concert. Anyone with questions about the show may contact .
