It's back again--Acquire A Cappella presents its annual spring concert, Acquirefest. Last year's event quickly established the largest a cappella tradition on campus with almost four hours of music, six performances, and over 450 attendees. Now Acquirefest returns for its second year with six groups from four schools performing free for the UC Santa Cruz campus.

On Friday, May 30th, Stevenson Event Center will house this year's free a cappella festival Acquirefest. Students, faculty, and staff at UC Santa Cruz are invited to come and enjoy a cappella renditions of their favorite songs both modern and golden as they enjoy the setlists and stage antics of six critically acclaimed a cappella groups, headlined by Acquire, UC Santa Cruz's newest group founded in early 2007. Members of the Santa Cruz community and beyond not affiliated with the campus are also welcome to purchase tickets for $5 at the door.

The show will begin at 8pm with doors opened at 7:30; be sure to be on time as seats are likely to fill up for this free concert. Anyone with questions about the show may contact .
